"Rizzoli & Isles" season 2 spoilers!

From TV Guide:
Jane and Maura are my favorite duo on television right now. Do you have any spoilers on what we'll see for them this season on Rizzoli & Isles? — Justin

NATALIE: Sadly, their BFF status may be in jeopardy when Maura hides a troubling secret. "Jane comes to the realization that she's maybe misjudged her relationship with Maura," Angie Harmon tells us. "She's always thought she could be herself and be personal around Maura, and the way Maura is acting is proving that to be untrue."

Article: "Rizzoli & Isles" interactive installation (with pictures!)

From Digital Signage Expo:
Pearl Media has launched an interactive, digital out-of-home, crime-solving campaign to promote TNT’s top-rated drama series Rizzoli & Isles. The series, starring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, will launch its second season on Monday, July 11, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on TNT.

At a New York City location, Pearl Media deployed an interactive crime scene where consumers are tasked with helping Rizzoli & Isles’ detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and medical examiner Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) solve a murder case. As consumers walk by the 100-foot display, they will see a 3D crime scene through the windows of the storefront. The detailed build-out features a taped-off crime scene filled with an array of evidence, including open pill bottles, footprints and fingerprints, as well as a sheeted corpse in the center of the scene.

An interactive video wall serves as the investigation headquarters, allowing consumers to dust for fingerprints, survey the scene of the crime, review DNA tests and view an autopsy report.

"Rizzoli & Isles" in "TV Guide"!

From the July 11 edition of TV Guide:
Sexier than Cagney and Lacey, brainier than Laverne and Shirley and way better at tracking down serial killers than the women of The View, Rizzoli and Isles are TV's favorite gal pals of the moment. The show's ratings are through the roof. Bloggers obsess over the characters' "secret" love lives. Big-name guest stars are on the horizon. Still, for Angie Harmon, the show's chisel-cheeked costar, the true sign of success was getting a shout-out from Liz Lemon. Last spring, when Tina Fey's character on 30 Rock heard that her boss Jack was buying a cable network, Liz practically started hyperventilating: "Is it TNT? Are Rizzoli and Isles friends in real life?"

Lena Lamoray interviews Angie Harmon!

From lenalamoray.com:
I spoke with ANGIE HARMON about RIZZOLI & ISLES. If you enjoyed the first season, just wait until next week. Season one ended so intensely that I had to ask Angie about it. It was such an honor to speak with her. Season two is equally explosive. You are not going to want to miss it. I’ve always been a fan of Angie’s work and a couple of my favorite shows that she has starred in are “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” Watch Angie as Detective Jane Rizzoli in the Season Two Premiere of RIZZOLI & ISLES on TNT.

Lena Lamoray: The premiere was fantastic. I want to talk about the season finale which was absolutely incredible. Can you talk about what was going through your mind and what it was like filming that final dramatic scene?

Angie Harmon: Sure. I mean, you know, as an actor you love when your character does something heroic like that. You know, and especially the fact that, you know, with Jane it was just a gut reaction. You know, it wasn’t something that she was planning or, you know, it was just spontaneous with her. It was just, you know, oh my gosh it’s either, you know, I - she either does something or her brother dies. So that’s what she did. And, you know, I mean as an actor and, you know, a narcissist, you love being able to play things like that. And, because you can only hope actually that you would be able to live up to that same standard if the stakes, you know, were as high for me. I mean I hope that I would be able to do something if it was between me or my kids. You know, you naturally think that you would dive headfirst in front of a bus for them. You know, and I just hope that I would be the same way, have the same standards, you know?
