Egglesfield: Filming the movie wasn’t the most fun experience, because this guy’s going through incredibly morally tortuous experience. I’m the kind of actor who takes that home with me. It’s not easy to leave it on set so I can see why some relationships in the business have problems, because with acting, it’s hard to separate yourself from your work.

M&C: So you’re one of these actors who really takes it to heart?

Egglesfield: Yeah. It’s natural. Some actors can turn it on and off in a second. I’m working with Angie Harmon on Rizzoli & Isles [and] she can be motor mouthing and cracking jokes and they call “Action” and she can turn serious, and I say “Who are you, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde?” It’s what works for me.
