Actress Angie Harmon will play a big role in the 27th running of NASCAR's all-star race Saturday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway: She's the honorary pace car driver.More details HERE.
In addition to leading the Sprint All-Star Race field, Harmon will attend the pre-race drivers meeting, in addition to other activities around the 1.5-mile speedway.
Best-known for her part "Law & Order," Harmon had a successful modeling career before turning to acting. In addition to "Law & Order," she has appeared on "Baywatch" and was featured in the movie "Agent Cody Banks." She is currently working in the TNT crime-drama series "Rizzoli & Isles."
Harmon and her husband, former New York Giants defensive back Jason Sehorn, are regulars at NASCAR events. They have attended races at CMS and spent Valentine's Day last year at Daytona International Speedway for the Daytona 500.
"I can't wait for the chance lead the field to the green flag," said Harmon. "I'm a big NASCAR fan and ... it will be an honor."
